The Plot: The warrior Thor (Hemsworth) is cast out of the fantastic realm of Asgard by his father Odin (Hopkins) for his arrogance and sent to Earth to live among humans. Falling in love with scientist Jane Foster (Portman) teaches Thor much-needed lessons, and his new-found strength comes into play as a villain from his homeland sends dark forces toward Earth.
My Take: I really can't fault this movie as it was probably the best and most comic book movie to come out of marvel studios. The action was top notch and the pace was spot on. If you see only one movie this spring see this one. I will admit that Thor is not my favorite Marvel hero (that title goes to Iron Man) and I will admit that he is fairly low on the list but this movie made me a believer.
